Deeds of the World

Hey guys, today we have a totally unique project to take a look at. Deeds of the World is an upcoming P2E game minting on Ethereum. The collection consists of a total of 1,717 NFT Territories which are individual segments of a country of the world, these segments can be combined to create a full country. The more you collect, the more powerful you can become with a much higher earning potential.

Who is Behind the Project?

Unfortunately, we have no idea who is behind this project. The founders and team are totally undoxxed. We don’t have any personal profiles or even alias profiles to look through. As a result, it’s important to note that if you do intend to mint it would be advisable to use a fresh burner wallet to avoid any potential issues.

About the Collection

The NFT Collection consists of territories of countries across the world. Each country is divided into segments. One NFT = 1 segment. The artwork consists of countries and territories presented in a hand-drawn style – each territory also has a point value.

Territories

The initial mint will start with 1,717 mintable NFT Territories. Each Territory is assigned a point value based on its size. Points can range from 1-10.

The more points you have, the greater the chance you will rise to the top of the leaderboard. However, the most powerful move would be to collect all territories for a country and burn them to generate yourself a Deed!

Deeds

Once a player has collected all territories of a nation, they can form a deed, which essentially allows a player to replace all the matching individual territory NFTs they hold with one Country (Deed) NFT. Territories are likely to be in hot demand as collecting all matching to form a deed will result in a lot of secondary sales.

When you form a Deed, you will usually lose a few points from the total you had from all separate territories beforehand. However, holding a Deed will allow you to begin passively earning tokens (token to be announced) which will be equivalent to the total points value of all held Deeds. Deeds also gain holders access to unique artwork.

Leaders

Fought your way to the top yet?

If you are one of the top 7 players you will be featured on the Leaderboard and will also gain World Leader status and as a result benefit from an additional utility.

The 7 World Leaders (top 7 players) will get a share of the daily earnings generated from Deed token generation. A 10% token tax is taken from every Deed NFT holder daily and redistributed between the 7 World Leaders.

Being a World Leader pays well.

What About the Unique Artwork?

Deed holders will supposedly have access to unique artwork. It isn’t exactly clear how this is distributed, but it seems to be that an artwork exists for holders of each Deed, one each for six players if they manage to collect a whole continent and one final ultra rare piece for the collector of all NFTs (a near impossible task I would imagine).

The artworks aren’t yet announced, but are said to come from prominent and well respected artists – we can see that on the projects art page they have a form for artists to fill if they wish their artwork to be part of the collection. Maybe rather misleadingly the team have included snippets of other famous artwork, from Bored Apes, to Beeples Everydays – if you don’t read the whole section you wouldn’t see the mention that these artworks are the inspiration for the art they would like to collect.

Road Map

The team doesn’t have a Road Map, from what I can tell. From the website I found some future objectives.

Game Start

The game territory collection game begins on the 5th of October 2022 – which will also be the mint day of the collection. Get playing straight away!

Conquering

There will be a few months between the next objectives – players are urged to accumulate territory and prepare for when the game begins for real.

P2E & Art Start

Starting on the 5th of January 2023 Deed holders will be able to begin claiming their tokens and unique artworks assigned to each NFT Deed owned.

Socials

At the moment the team only have a Twitter account to communicate with the community. Hopefully a Discord, or other platforms will come.

• Twitter – 4.2k followers | Joined September 2021 – Small Twitter account. The account has been registered around a year, but the Tweets only began a few days ago (September 8th 2022). Tweets get average engagement.

Smart Contract

Smart Contract is not yet available for review.

Price & Mint Date

Initially for the first 1000 NFTs minted they will all be FREE, only gas is required. After the first 1000 have sold, the rest will cost 0.02 ETH each. We don’t know the max NFT mint per wallet just yet.

The mint will be held on 5th of October 2022. Holders will need to sit tight until the 5th of January 2023 for all features to be enabled.

Conclusion

This collection is really different. I like the approach – it’s a game that seems to remind me a little bit of RISK. The idea of the game is actually pretty cool and offers the upcoming token and artwork utility as an added bonus. It’s a nice project and I imagine it will be fun to take part in the quest for world domination, and get rewarded. The artwork itself, there’s not much to say for it – it’s pretty average, but the artwork is not the primary focus here!
The problems at the moment are the fact that we don’t know anything about the team, they are totally undoxxed. The project also seems to be pretty silent and underexposed, considering their only form of communication is via Twitter – however this NFT project only came into motion in the last week, soon we may see some changes.

All things considered, this is a great project with some fun ideas – I would like to take part. It’s free if I’m within the first 1000, after all. I’m a little concerned about the future token and artwork drops viability, but we will see. I would be sure to mint with a burner wallet for ultimate peace of mind considering the undoxxed nature of this project.
